The Hunting of the Snark
That Facebook post (see also my comment there) about the “Snarkapalooza” event on 2026-03-29 is about a great contribution by the LCSNA to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the publication of “The Hunting of then Snark” in 1876.
I hope that BBC Radio 4 will broadcast their 2015 Snark radio play (see https://snrk.de/snark-radio-play/ in my Snark blog) in 2026.
Susanna Johnston’s “The Secret of the Snark” (ISBN 9781919435800) is another excellent contribution to the anniversary (https://bsky.app/profile/snarkhunt.bsky.social/post/3mhh3irkmpk27). There also is a reference to my Snark blog. I learned from a FB post by Mark Richards in Lewis Carroll Resources (2026-03-12) about the book.
Last but not least, I am working on the virtualization of JJ Secker and Xanna Eve Chown‘s “SNARK!” card game (https://snrk.de/zzota-snark/). Probably I’ll use https://playingcards.io to finish this job within 2026. In https://bsky.app/profile/snark.games I describe my (slow) progress.
